One  of the main complaints from industrial and commercial tenants comes from the state of roadways and car parks.

The roads and car parks can also be a major cost at the end of a lease when the dilapidations claim arrives from the landlord, where these items are not included in the service charge.

Because we specialise in the commercial property market, we conduct large numbers of road condition surveys on industrial estates, shopping centres, car parks, schools and universities.

Roadways on industrial estates in particular cause difficulties, usually because of power steering on large trucks and lorries that can rip up the wearing course of a road in no time, especially when space is tight and there is less room for manoeuvre, resulting in more stationary turning.

Our road and car park surveys can identify the problem areas and make suggestions for improvement and longer lasting surfacing.

If space is at a premium, our road surveys can also include provision for re-configuration, with CAD plans showing new demarcation for new and improved parking spaces.

As with all of our surveying services, we are also able to specify required works, invite competent contractors to conduct the work and of course, project manage the entire programme of works through to completion.
